About Course

Physics II (Electricity, Magnetism and Electromagnetism) for Engineering Students at Halic University.

The problems and quizzes were covered thoughtfully, so there are a plenty of problems to enhance the recognition.

The course will cover the following contents:

  1. Properties of charged Matters, Coulomb’s Law, Electric field and fields lines, the electric field of continuous charge distributions, a dipole in an electric field
  2. The flux of the electric field, Gauss’ law and Applications of Gauss’ Law; An infinite line of charge, Infinite sheet of charge, a spherical shell of charge
  3. Electric potential, Electric potential energy, Equipotential surfaces
  4. Capacitors and dielectrics, Capacitors energy, energy storage in a electric fields, Capacitors in series an parallel
  5. Effect of Magnetic fields, Magnetism and Electric field, the magnetic force on a moving charge, Magnetic force on a current-carrying conductor
