Bio

My name is Ahmed Saeed Ibrahim Amer, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, with a focus on Fluid Mechanics, at Alexandria University, Egypt. I earned my M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics in 2020, specializing in fluid dynamics, and my B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2015 from the same institution.

Since 2016, I have been working as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant at various universities, including Alexandria University, the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, and Pharos University. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of courses such as differential equations, calculus, numerical analysis, linear algebra, and engineering mathematics. I am currently a part-time lecturer at the Naval College for the Armed Forces and the National University of Alexandria.

My research interests lie in applied mathematics, particularly in fluid dynamics, focusing on the motion of viscous fluids in porous media and micropolar fluids. I have two research papers currently under review in international journals: Migration of a Porous Spherical Particle in the Presence of a Non-Deformable Interface (European Journal of Mechanics / B Fluids) and The Transient Slow Movement of a Hydrophobic Spherical Particle within a Concentric Cavity Containing a Brinkmann Medium (Physics of Fluids). My academic journey, combined with my teaching experience, has reinforced my passion for mathematics and my commitment to advancing knowledge in the field.
