For Atlınbaş University
Students will learn about the different types of infectious agents (bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites) and how they spread through direct and indirect transmission. They’ll explore how these pathogens cause illness, the body’s immune response, and key prevention measures like hygiene, vaccination, and public health efforts. Students will also understand the importance of diagnosis and treatment, along with the global impact of infectious diseases on society. Finally, they will discuss the emergence of new diseases and the challenges posed by antibiotic resistance.
