Elsayed Elmiligy is a dedicated academic currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at Koc University, Turkey. With over 10 years of experience teaching at universities in Egypt, Malaysia and Turkey, he has taught a variety of chemistry disciplines including inorganic, organic, physical, and analytical chemistry. Elmiligy’s professional interests include the chemistry of natural products, insect pest control using natural insecticides, and the integration of nanotechnology in formulating essential oils as insecticides. He is skilled in using advanced spectroscopic techniques such as GC/MS, LC/MS-MS, IR, UV, and NMR to analyze organic molecules. His research focuses on the extraction, isolation, and bioactivity testing of natural compounds for pest management, with particular interest in controlling mosquitoes and stored grain pests.

Elmiligy holds a Master’s degree in Entomology from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Entomology from Mansoura University, Egypt. He has participated in several scientific projects, including those funded by UNESCO, focusing on pest management and water quality assessment. He has also contributed to numerous international conferences and scientific publications related to his field of expertise.

His personal interests include exploring the use of natural products for sustainable pest management, developing innovative teaching methods in chemistry education, and engaging in professional development activities. Elmiligy is proficient in various scientific software and statistical programs and is committed to advancing his knowledge in both chemistry and entomology through research and teaching.
