Welcome to the Differential Equations course!

Differential equations are an important tool for understanding and predicting the behavior of many natural systems, from the growth and decay of populations to the motion of physical objects. This course will introduce you to the basics of solving differential equations, with an emphasis on first-order ordinary differential equations and their solution methods.

In this course, you will learn first-order, second-order linear, and higher-order ordinary differential equations, and how to use mathematical models to represent real-world systems.

To solve differential equations, we will introduce you to the Laplace transform, a powerful mathematical tool that can transform differential equations into algebraic equations, making them easier to solve. Additionally, you will learn about linear systems of differential equations, which are commonly used to model interconnected physical systems.

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to work on problem sets and apply your knowledge to real-world examples. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in differential equations and the tools needed to analyze and solve them.
